The Green Man — Gourd Sculpture
This is a sculpture made out of a gourd, hand-drawn with graphite and then varnished to finish. It depicts the face of the Green Man, sometimes called Herne or the Horned God, God and Lord of pagan tradition. He is depicted in a variety of abstract swirls and tree-shapes
It’s about 7 inches wide, about 13 inches tall. Of course because it’s a gourd, it’s hollow and very light-weight.
There are so many images of the Lady/Goddess out there for the average pagan, I like to give expression to Her under-represented counterpart. It is perfect for an altar or just to decorate the home.
